The city of Bell Ville has a public street lighting system, comprised mainly of sodium-vapor and high-pressure sodium-vapor lamps. These types of technologies are not as energy-efficient as LED lighting technologies, which use less electric energy (GHG emissions) and its use can save an important amount of economic resources.
Replacing the current lighting system with LED luminaires in the main highways of the city, thus saving a substantial 25%in resources and reducing the production of Greenhouse Gases.
Replacing 500 already installed luminaires in a period of six months.
