A Tree for my Sidewalk

Description of the issue:

Despite the multiple environmental, social and economic benefits of the urban woodland, the urban growth of the district and the loss in value of the woodland by the community has caused a considerable loss of forests in the district, plus a subsequent worsening in the standard of living of the community.

General aim:

To increase and develop the urban woodland in San Miguel District by means of afforestation and reforestation in public areas.

Resolution strategy:

Priority will be given to those places where there exists an interest in, or commitment to, the care of the woodland and the need of afforestation. To such end, it is expected to create channels of communication with neighbors interested in sponsorship of trees.

Budget:

Amount requested: ARS 8,552,000

Municipality: ARS 652,000

Total Amount: ARS 9,204,000
