The issues of clean energy and job creation beyond the context of Vaca Muerta were addressed in the debate held this Monday by a panel of experts in the National Museum of Fine Arts.
The debate was hosted by the Municipality of Neuquén and the Patagonia Institute of Technology (PIT).
"We will show which are the needs of teaching institutions, their supply, and the kind of professionals, technicians or assistants they need," explained Rubén Etcheverry, Modernization Secretary for the Municipality of Neuquén.
The topics debated on the panel included Act No. 27,474 on the Promotion of Distributed Generation of Renewable Energy integrated to the Public Electric Grid, and Act. No. 27,191 on National Promotion of the Use of Renewable Sources of Energy.
Sonia Sansot, academic director for the PIT, stated: "From the beginning, we made a bet on the diversification of the energy mix, and I believe that the participation of the different experts in this panel and the information they shared to us about their proyects, often undertaken all alone, allows us to spread the news on the developments in this sector."
