Education travels in municipal urban transport in Villa General Belgrano, it adds new sentry boxes and more routes in the neighborhoods.


Since the municipal government decided the incorporation of the Passenger Urban Transport service in October 2016, it also undertook the duty of providing the different neighborhoods with sentry boxes so the waiting for the bus would be more comfortable and secure for our neighbors. In addition, this week a new protected stop was added at the Corrientes street, as ana strategic point for the students of Escuela San Martín, Diego de Rojas school and neighbors that go to the “Arturo U. Illia” clinic.

The last one adds up to the system integrated by the “protected stops” at the Ojo de Agua avenue, in Las Magnolias, in Villa La Gloria, in front of Escuela Eloy Gómez (route 5) and in front of the CapillaVieja arch (route S 210). Always respecting the “VGB style” in the architectonic, with the roof of two water; constructed in wood and with roof tiles of colors that characterize the public constructions of our town. Some of them were constructed through the urban furniture sponsorship program, promoting public-private articulation.

Having the access to schools for our children and teens as a priority, for 2019 the Municipality arranged the incorporation of more routes through the neighborhoods with the firm that provides the urban services. In this manner adding a new route on its way through Bº Cuatro Horizontes, from one extreme to the other at Bº Villa Cal and the stop at the Escuela Eloy Gómez in route 5.

The Municipal Urban service is adherent to the Free Educational Ticket. The corresponding procedure must be done to access the tickets benefits.
